| Desa Dairy Farm located at the foothill of the mount Kinabalu, Desa Cattle Dairy Farm is one of the most essential places to be visited because of the windy and cold environment instead of amazing views. This is the only places that you can find Holstein Friesian cattle, the type of cow that rarely and hardly find in Southeast Asia as they can only adapt such a cold temperature. The farm is producing about 900,000 liters of milk per year. The farm is 199 hectars. Besides, the important things that you can't miss in Desa Cattle Dairy Farm is the variety of ice-creams and drinks that made of natural and fresh milk of Friesian cattle.

Do you want to see the view of where the two oceans met each other? You can see those South China Sea from the west and Sulu Sea from the east met at Tanjung Simpang Mengayau, Kudat. It is the third largest island after Greenland and New Guinea. It is about three and a half hour to reach the destination from Kota Kinabalu which is about 215 Kilometres. You can go by taxi, self-drive or with a tour agent. Four-wheel drives and saloon cars with permits are stationed near the Indian Restaurant opposite the Health Clinic in Kampung Air. Four-wheel drives can take between 7-8 passengers at RM20.00 - RM25.00 per pax return, while saloon cars take up to 4 passengers and charge RM240.00 for a return trip to Simpang Mengayau. |
